Terms of Service for "Houdini"

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using the "Houdini" Chrome extension (the "Extension") and/or accessing the related Web App (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

The Extension enables users to automatically retrieve One-Time Passwords (OTPs) and login links from their Gmail accounts, via a secure authorization process facilitated by the Web App.

The Service is provided "as-is" and is intended solely for the user's personal, non-commercial use.

3. User Accounts and Authorization

  • Users may connect their Gmail accounts through OAuth authorization via the Web App.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and access tokens.
  • You may revoke the Service's access to your Gmail account at any time through your Google Account settings.

4. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store your information.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, titles, and interests in and to the Extension and Web App, including all intellectual property rights, remain with the creator(s) of Houdini.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension and Service are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be secure, error-free, or available at any particular time or location.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Houdini or its creators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Extension or Service constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

9. Fees and Payments

  • Currently, the Extension and Service are provided free of charge.
  • However, we reserve the right to introduce fees for certain features or future versions of the Service.
  • If we decide to implement charges, we will provide advance notice and give you the option to continue or discontinue your use of the Service.
